Mrs. Lola Mae Hogan, age 79, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 26, 2005. Born in West Monroe, Louisiana, on July 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Nora (Dumas) McBroom. Mrs. Hogan was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren and family. She had been a resident of Quitman for two and a half years and was a former resident of Choctaw, Arkansas. Mrs. Hogan was a member of the Choctaw Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Logan Clark, and also by her husband, Benjamin Hogan, who died in 1991.
She is survived by four sons, Gerald Clark of Houston, Texas, Mike Clark and Mark Hogan, both of Quitman, and Dennis Clark and his wife, Cheryl, of Monroe, Louisiana; three daughters, Pam Scott of Dumas, Texas, Jan Eakin and her husband, Chuck, of Bee Branch, and Janet Holland and her husband, Kenneth, of Higden; one brother, William McBroom of Hot Springs; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hogan is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
A graveside service for Mrs. Hogan will be held Saturday, April 2, at 2:00 P.M. at the Mer Rouge Cemetery in Bastrop, Louisiana.
