Son of Simon H. & Wilhemina Briggs, he was born in Clinton, Wyoming County, PA. Occupation: Carpenter/Wood Works. Warren was married abt. 1886, Adelaide Lewis who died only ten days before. Warren G. Briggs, aged 74 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Archie C. (Freda) Barker, 8 Clarks St. Binghamton, NY. Mr. Briggs, a resident of Hallstead, had been in failing health for some time and the recent death of his wife no doubt hastened the end.

Besides his daughter, Freda, he is survived by three sons; Ralph M. Briggs and Earl S. Briggs, of Binghamton, and Lewis Briggs, of Georgetown, Delaware.
