Roger Henry "Joe" Gladstone, of Gregory, MI, age 74, passed away at his home at 17774 Gregory Rd. Gregory, MI 48137 on Friday, December 16, 2016. He was born at the Stockbridge Hospital, Stockbridge, MI, on November 25, 1942, 13 pounds 10 ounces. The son of Roy and Marion (Holmes) Gladstone.
Joe loved the outdoors, camping, working in his yard and spending time with his grandkids. He was a true Spartan Fan. He worked for Central Fiber (Chelsea MI) for many years, then for Kevin Jacobs (Plainfield MI) and then worked for Howlett Hardware (Gregory MI) as the store manager for more than twenty years.
In 1961 he married Shirley Mae Potts, and she survives. They have two surviving children: Randy Gladstone of Michigan and Shawn (Tim) Brenner of Lansing MI.
In 1984 he married Vicki Lou (Earle), and she survives. Also surviving are three children: Scott (Mei) Zeigler, Steve Zeigler, and Jodi (Erich) Adams.
Grandchildren: Heather Brenner, Amy Brenner, Hunter Gladstone, Brooke, Michaela Brenner, Taylor, Shelby, Andrew, JD, Tyler, and Luca, as well as many nieces and nephews including special nieces and nephews: Robin Rowe, Jim (Pam) Richard, Mark and Mariann Gladstone, Jeff and Lynda Gladstone, Margene Gladstone, and Phil (Karen) Gladstone.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Bob (Rowena) Gladstone, Janet (Garth) Richard, Donna (Mel) Williams, Faye (Russell) Roberts and a young brother Floyd Leach. (Some surnames omitted for privacy).
Funeral Services was held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crossroads Community Church with Pastor Brian Johnson officiating.
