Leon passed away Monday, July 2, 2001 at Northwest Hospital. Born on July 13, 1926 to Albert Lee Fisher and Selma M. Olson. Growing up in Oxford, Idaho, he was one of ten children. He moved to the Seattle area then married Marilyn Decker on February 3, 1948. They enjoyed 53 years together. Leon is survived by his wife Marilyn, his sons Tim Nancy, Todd and Paul Rebecca, and daughter Wendy Anderson Daniel, 14 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Lynette, his parents and three brothers.
Leon worked as a Produce Manager for 46 years at Bert's Red Apple grocery store in the Madison Park area in Seattle. Leon was a devoted husband and father and friend to many. He provided well for his family. Years of church service has changed many lives forever.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the Shoreline Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 102 N. 132nd St., Seattle, WA. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle, WA.
