Lance Corporal (sn: 267381; formerly S/8058 and 5011), 6th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders, he died from his wounds in a London Hospital.

He was born at 29 Morgan Street, Dundee and was formerly a Clerk with A & S Hendry, Dundee. Son of Robert McRobert Urquhart (confectioner's van driver; m.1891) and Emily (née Todd) Urquhart (d.1909) of 55 Victoria Road, Dundee. Robert Urquhart subsequently married Esther Cowan Gray in 1919.
