Stacy was a dynamic, creative, fun loving woman who brought tremendous joy and warmth to every life she touched. She loved the music of country singer Toby Keith, poker, her cats, her friends at Garden Grove City Hall, and her Miss Garden Grove Pageant partners.
Stacy was an active and dedicated volunteer in the City of Garden Grove for over 30 years. As Executive Director of the Miss Garden Grove Scholarship Organization and the Miss Garden Grove's Outstanding Teen Program, she mentored hundreds of young women.
Stacy was not your normal or average pageant director. Her pageants were major productions with themes like "Wizard of Oz" and baseball. The moment one pageant finished, Stacy was hard at work on the next one. She mentored every young woman including pageant contestants, their sisters and mothers. Stacy's coworkers were touched by her personality, wit, and dedication to her job. She was so popular that when she was in the Intensive Care Unit, her brother had to limit visitors to keep her room from becoming standing room only. She was a unique person who touched more people in her forty-nine years of life than most people will touch in a lifetime.
Among her many accomplishments, in 2013 Stacy was recognized as the Woman of the Year for the City of Garden Grove, a title she deserved in any year.
