Clara Bell Taylor was born in the year 1900. The first child of Alva Lee and Arizona Mitchell Taylor. During her 17th year, as the story is told, a swing fell with Clara and she broke her back. Mother has said that Clara was a very religous girl, while in her bed she sang "Lord I'm Coming home". Altho her death certificate says she died of a fever, it could have been a connection there.

Clara is buried in an unmarked grave in the old McEwin Cemetary along with a brother and sister. Her Grandfather Mitchell is also buried there.

I have been told in recent years, that my daddy, John Wesley Posey and Clara was to be married. She died in 1917 and mother and daddy married in November 1926.
