Beulah Lee is the little girl leaning on her daddies knee. My sister Zona Bell looked just like Beulah at that age.
Beulah Lee was so tiny when she was born, mother said they were afraid to hold her.. She was to little for her diapers. Her crib was made from the body of an old mantle clock. When she started to school her eyes just cleared her desk top. I believe she died from deptheria. Beulah Lee is buried in the old McEwin Cemetary along with her brother and sister in unmarked graves. Her Grandpa Mitchell is also buried there. This information was handed down by my mother, Maudie Emma Taylor Posey.
