LITTLE, JOHN WILLIAM, age 86, of Hoover, died July 5, 1998. He was a prominent homebuilder, developer and businessman for over 50 years. He was a member of Presbyterian Church of the Hills, The Club and Friends of Hoover.
He had been in declining health for several years. He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Little. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Tom Rains officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30 until 8 p.m.
Survivors include: wife, Frances Thomas Little; daughter, Susan Perkins (Nat) of Birmingham; grandchildren, Heather Brock (Richard) and James Chandash, both of Birmingham, Geoff Little and Edward Little, both of Atlanta, Ga., Cham Little, Greenville, S.C., and Ferrell Little of Tampa, Fla.; great-granddaughter, Frances Elaine Brock, Birmingham; nephews, Larry and Steve Wilson, Birmingham; niece, Estelle Stewart, Opelika.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, the Birmingham Humane Society or a favorite charity. Valley Chapel directing.
