Doris P. Adams 81, Indianapolis, passed away November 24, 2005. She was born March 3, 1924 in Crawford County to the late Luther and Mae Deitch Morgan. Doris married Kenneth Adams Sr. on January 9, 1948 in Indianapolis, who survives. Other survivors include children, Diana (Tim) Weisenbach, Indianapolis, Cathy (Bruce) Foreman, Jeanie (Randy) Simpson and Dr. Kenneth F. (Marty) Adams Jr. all of Greenwood; grandchildren Kelly Cochran, Amy Weisenbach, Alex Simpson and Sarah Grace Simpson; great-granddaughter Audrey Cochran. She was preceded in death by a sister Dortha Morgan and brothers Samuel and Floyd Morgan. Doris was a 1942 French Lick High school graduate and had been employed ten years at various Marsh Supermarkets in the Bakery and previously was employed ten years at the Southport High School cafeteria and seven years at Indiana Bell as a supervisor and long Distance operator. She was a member of Southport Christian Church. Services 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28 at Southport Christian Church, 201 East Epler Avenue with visitation two hours prior to the service. Entombment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Southport Christian Church or St. Francis Hospice. Arrangements: Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center.
