Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Trenton With Pastor John Fries officiating. Burial will be in Edinburg Cemetery west of Trenton.
Family visitation will be held Sunday Evening from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Slater Funeral Home, Trenton.
Memorials To: Immanuel Lutheran Church and may be left at the funeral home.
Mr. Larry D. Hoppe was born Nov. 25, 1944 at Mankato, Minn. The son of Arthur L. and Dorothy E. Riekens Hoppe. He graduated from Winnebago, Minn. high school, then graduated from Bemidji State College, Bemidji, Minn., and also from DunnWoody Institute, Minneapolis, Minn.
He was a life time member of I.O.O.F. Lodge of Winnebago, also an Eagle Scout and was awarded the Carnegie Metal Of Honor. Before retiring was a independent truck driver.
On July 30, 1966 he was married to Diana Marie Palmer at Winnebago, Minn.
His survivors include in his wife Diana of the home. Two daughters Ann Burchett and Husband Cory and Katelyn Hoppe all of Trenton. One son David Hoppe and wife Kathy of Greentop,MO. His mother Dorothy Hoppe of Winnebago, Minn. Eight Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. Three sisters Patricia Ludwig of West Bend, Iowa, Donna Ringler and husband Bruce of Winnebago, Minn. and Phyllis Hoppe of Winnebago, Minn. and one brother Ronald Hoppe and Wife Rebecca of Delavan,Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Kenneth Lee Hoppe.
