Dan was in the US Army 1960-1962 and was serving in Germany when the Berlin Wall went up.
Dan is survived by his former wife and friend Marie A. Langan, his three children, Judith (Judy) and her husband Jack Breedlove, Daniel N. Langan, II both of Phoenix, AZ and Theresa and her husband Thomas Bainer of Torrington, CT, nine grand children, three great-grand children; three brothers, Thomas and Paul of Florida and E. Patrick of Connecticut, two sisters, Dorothy Langan Valvo and Darline Langan Falcetti of Connecticut and many nieces and nephews, In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, William (Billy) and sister, Beverly Langan.
He was cremated on 11 Nov 2016 and his ashes were placed in H5 A56 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at Phoenix Arizona.
