Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Mr. Lacey Roy Aaron, 88, who entered eternal rest, Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Lane Memorial Hospital in Zachary, LA.
Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery. Rev. Calvin J. Moore will officiate the services.
Mr. Aaron is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Lorraine Aaron Gordon and her husband, Ralph of Baton Rouge, LA; two granddaughters, Brittani Gordon of Baton Rouge, LA and fiancé, David Gladney of Louisville, MS and Leah Brown and her husband Tavoris Brown of El Paso, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Elretha D. Leday Aaron; his parents John Wilson Aaron and Berdie Ingram Aaron; three sisters, Jessie Shaw, Bernice Rayford and Evelyn Guilbeaux; five brothers, Harold Aaron, Oliver Aaron, Howard Aaron, Claude Aaron and Lawrence Aaron.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, November 4, 2016 at Williams Funeral Home. Masonic Rituals will begin at 7:00PM. Visiting hours will resume on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 10:00AM.
