Ava C. Adams
June 8, 2015 - November 5, 2016Ava Claire Adams was born June 8, 2015, the daughter of Ben and Krista Adams. She died at St. Anthony’s Regional Hospital, Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the age of 16 months.

Ava was born with Spinal Mascular Atrophy, a genetic disease affecting the part of the nervous system that controls voluntary muscle movement. While limited in voluntary movement, it didn’t however diminish the love for her family and the happiness she and her family enjoyed in the short life she shared with them. She was a loving daughter, sister and niece to those who shared their lives with her. She loved waving hello and good-bye to her family and friends. Two of her favorite games that she enjoyed include playing peekaboo and imitating animal sounds with her parents. Her sister Grace enjoyed caring for her as she could, and her aunt Amy Igou placed her education on hold to care full time for Ava.

She went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and left her earthly family peacefully with her parents at her side. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, her paternal grandparents. Survivors include her parents, Ben and Krista; her sister Grace at home; her maternal grandparents, Tim and Donna; her maternal great-grandparents, Milo and Mary; and her paternal great-grandmother, Joan; aunts, uncles, cousins and many heart felt friends.

The family expresses their heart felt thanks for the kind prayers, and support for Ava and her family. And pray that support for CureSMA will continue providing needed funds for research that may find a cure for the disease.
