BOONEVILLE‑ Erlene Thornton Abbate, 78, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. She was a retired employee of Prances Manufacturing Co. and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Services will be al 11 a.m. Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating Burial ell be in Booneville Cemetery
Survivors include one daughter, Ann Stevenson, and her husband, Bill, of Booneville; one nephew, Larry Rhodes of Booneville: tour grandchildren, Kim Godwin, Angle Robinson, Greg Robinson and Derek Stevenson: six great‑grandchildren, Michael Wallis, Lauren Wallis, Alexis Godwin, Heather Robinson, Gregory Robinson and Austin Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Abbate; her parents, Sam and Maud Claunch; and a sister, Jewel Rhodes.
Pallbearers will be Larry Rhodes, Wade Tye, Ralph Hutcheson, Wayne Michael, Tom Turner, Nathan hardy, Merle Claunch, Haskel Clamor and Clifton "Butch" Hardy
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today.
