Conrad S. Syroney, age 81 of Mentor, formerly of Cleveland and Willowick, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Syroney worked as a Data Methods Analyst for 31 years, at the Cuyahoga County Data Center. He attended Kent State University and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Syroney; children, Ann (John) McGrath, Marybeth (Ron) Stewart, Catherine (Rene) Aschwanden, James Syroney and Joseph Syroney; grandchildren, Erin, Taylor and Hunter McGrath and Grace Aschwanden; brother, Louis (Mary Jane) Syroney and sister Barbara (Bill) Potter. Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis and Wanda Syroney and brothers, Robert, Ralph and Carl Syroney.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016, at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave. Mentor, OH. 44060.
A funeral mass will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, Ohio 44060. Please meet at the church.
Gathering will follow at his daughter Ann's house.
A burial at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio will take place at a later date.
