Keith John Adams, age 64 of Perryopolis passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Winber, PA on May 19, 1952 a son of the late Kenneth J. Adams and Vera Laverne Allison Adams.

Keith graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and was the former owner of the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home in Perryopolis where he was a member and past officer of the South Western Funeral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Funeral. Directors Association and National Funeral Directors Association. He was also a member of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church where he served as a Special Eurcharistic Minsiter, member of the Holy Name Society and belonged to the Knights of Columbus attaining a third degree. He served on the Parks and Recreation Committee for the Borough of Perryopolis was on the Frazier Library Board and a board member of Mt Washington Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Madge A. Fry Adams; daughters: Amanda L. Vargo and her husband Robert of Pleasant Hills, Melissa F. Adams of Pittsburgh; grandsons: Jacob G. Vargo and Nichalas T. Vargo; brother, Kevin P. Adams and wife Renee of California; sister, Kathleen M. Adams of Harrisburg, PA.

Keith's family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 with Rev. John Matsko, officiating. Private entombment will follow in the Lebanon Church Cemetery Mausoleum, West Mifflin, PA.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1100 Liberty Ave., Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

The family extends a special thank you to Three Rivers Hospice, At Home Instead and employees Mary and Sandy for their outstanding care over the last few months.
