Waldo Edward Grotophorst, age 80, long time resident of Claremont, died Sunday, June 18m at his home. He was a graduate of Stanford University and a retired agriculturist. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Colgin Grotophorst; two sons, Richard L. Grotophorst of Claremont, and Fred W. Grotophorst of Matthews, N.C.: six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday June 20, at o'clock, in the Claremont Cemetery. The Rev. Garner Underhill will officiate.
