She graduated from Mabank High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from East Texas State University. As of 2016, She is survived by her husband, Brad; children, Christi Kirby and Heath Smith, Pamela Kirby and B.J Voigt, Stephanie Kirby and Justin Knuppel, Ashlie and Steve Driver, and Allison and Micheal Nordeen; siblings Danny and Nancy Darden of Weatherford and Charlotte Ann Darden and Sanford Reed of San Antonio; thirteen grandchildren, Cassidi, Brandon, Cassidy, Kirby, Caitlyn, Maddie, Cameron, Luke, Colton, Tucker, Travis, Holden and Elise;
