The 'unresponsive' youngster was rushed to hospital in a critical condition following the alleged attack in West Virginia on Oct 3, 2016.
However, she tragically passed away Oct 5th, after being declared brain dead.
Emma is survived by her mother Amanda Adkins; siblings, Nate, Carleigh & Cameron; grandparents, Rich & Michelle Grunes; and many other family & friends.

Amanda's partner, Benjamin Taylor, was arrested and indicted on two counts of 1st degree murder, one count of death of a child by child abuse, one count of 1st degree sexual assault and one count of sexual abuse by a guardian.
