Bill graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, California in 1978. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1984. He later relocated to Quartzsite, Arizona in 2007, to be near his mother Pat.
A Certified HVAC Service Technician, for more than 20 years, he was employed by Atecc.
When he wasn't working, Bill spent most of his time enjoying life four wheeling in the desert, on his Quad, with his many friends and family.
An easy-going and loving father, son and brother, Bill is survived by his mother Patricia, his step-father Bob, his brothers Steve and Dan Stewart, and John and Robert Kehne, and his daughter Sarah.
Bill was cremated and a Celebration Of Life service was held on on May 16, 2015 in Rainbow Acres, where he lived.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that donations be made to his favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Project.
