Hazel McFatter, 77, of Santa Fe, Texas passed away September 23, 2016. She was born on November 11, 1938 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of the late, Charles and Lillie Amos, and biological mother, Annie Marie Williams.

She is preceded in death by son, Archie Lee Perrin and was elated to see him again in Heaven.

She is survived by daughter, Kelly McFatter. Hazel had a deep love and commitment to her daughter and considered her, her best friend.

Early in life Hazel taught ballroom dancing, this is where she met and married Kelly’s father, Myron ‘Mac’ McFatter who was also a dance instructor. Even though their marriage dissolved, they remained close friends. Hazel is now dancing in the stars.

In her better days she and her friend, Melody were burning up I-10 traveling to the casinos. Now they are in Heaven together.

Hazel was a beautiful lady. She was much loved by her family and the many others whose lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished profoundly.

As per her wishes, a private burial will be held at Forest Park-East Cemetery.
