Richard Moehle
Richard William Moehle, 56, of Mediapolis, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1996, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 11, 1940, in Burlington, he was the son of Jesse and Ruby Stucke Moehle. On Nov. 13, 1966, he married Vicky Hershey in Mediapolis.
Mr. Moehle was a graduate of Mediapolis High School and Mason City School of Auctioneering. He was a farmer and auctioneer, owning R and R Auction in Mediapolis.
He was a member of the Iowa and National Auctioneer Associations. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mediapolis.
Besides his wife, survivors include one daughter, JoAnne Manley of Mediapolis; one son, Jim Moehle of Mediapolis; one grandson; one sister, Linda Niggemeyer of New London; and one uncle, Everett Moehle of Mediapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Visitation will be Friday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, where the family will receive friends from 630 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services for Mr. Moehle will be at 230 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mary Jo Maass officiating. Interment will follow at Kossuth Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Mediapolis Community Ambulance Service and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
