Anthony “Tony” Alan Timpa, age 32 and a lifetime resident of Rockwall, Texas passed away August 10, 2016. He was born June 5, 1984, to Joe Timpa and Vicki Timpa. In 2003, Tony graduated from Rockwall High School, where he enjoyed playing football as well as his academic endeavors. Tony was the Center for the varsity football team in the fall of his junior and senior years, 2001 and 2002 respectively. He was an honors graduate of Rockwall High School and had previously attended Williams Middle School that bore the namesake of his grandfather, J. W. Williams. He received an academic scholarship to Baylor University, where he took business classes. Tony followed in his father’s footsteps and excelled in his chosen field of transportation and logistics during his entire career; he was an instrumental part of American National Logistics, Inc. and American National Diversified, Inc., his family’s companies. Tony was the Director of Operations for both companies and oversaw every aspect of operations, ushering in a lengthy period of unprecedented growth that was maintained under his leadership. Tony loved his family and loved the family businesses. In his free time, Tony loved playing golf, jet skiing, snow skiing, attending professional sporting events and various other activities, but he most enjoyed spending time with his son, Kolton. He was very engaging and especially enjoyed attending family gatherings, a longstanding tradition of his large Italian family of which he was so proud. Tony was a member of Lake Pointe Church, where he was baptized, but most recently attended Watermark Church. Tony was close to the Lord and was comfortable to knock on his Father’s door. Tony’s bible, which he received from his parents in 1997, is well-marked and highlighted and has been given to his beloved son, Kolton Jon Timpa.

Tony is survived by his son: Kolton Jon Timpa; father: Joseph Charles Timpa and stepmother: Kim Renee Timpa; mother: Vicki Ann Timpa; sisters: Jamie Mae Timpa and Julie Marie Fecht, her husband Jared William Fecht and their daughter, Jolie Mae Fecht.
