~~~~~ OBITUARY ~~~~~
Garrett Dale Amey age of 19 of Macomb Michigan passed away suddenly on August 20th.
Beloved son of Eric and Cindi, dear brother of Alicia and dear uncle of Aurora and Ayla. Cherished Grandson of Gerri and Al Koszewski and late Gerald and Marie Amey.
Loving nephew of Kip (Brigid), Jaclyn (Mike) and the late Debbie (Dave), Jay, Connie (Jim), Tina, Sandy (Paul), Lori (Mike), Kimmie (Jim), Craig (Gayle), and the late Ricky. Garrett is also survived by many extended loved one and friends.
Garrett was his Mother & Father's only child and their whole world. They would do anything for their boy! Whether it was placing a band-aid on him since even at walking age he was so hard charging his own feet couldn't even keep up or helping him with homework because he rather provide a smile to a classmate by joking around. Garrett was so energetic even at a young age he had countless hours of riding dirt bikes on the trials at their family cabin up north with his family and friends. He had a big caring heart and always gave hugs like a cuddly teddy bear. Garrett lived his life his way and his parents are proud for the distinguished young man he became.
Garrett was a one of a kind true friend, who would always lend a helping hand or an ear. He always held his head up so high. When him and his friends were little tikes he was the dare devil out of the bunch while jumping bike ramps in the front yard. He recently purchased a new motorcycle that he was so proud of from working a hard days of work. Him and his friends would ride down Woodward Avenue to hang out at car meets. If it wasn't car meets they would just hang out at his house just to have some plain old fun, whether it was playing video games, wrestling downstairs, or playing football in his backyard.
Garrett will be greatly missed by his loving family and close friends, as he would say his brothers.
