He met a lady that understood him and they were moving on to a long term relationship. He seemed at last to be getting his life together.
Ed loved to ride his Harley, and also spoke of the safety that must be used in riding.
One of his last posting was" Summer coming , ride carefully and watch out for the other guy."
Sadly he and his lady friend were killed by a teenage uninsured driver that crossed the center line in open country between Superior and Globe Arizona.
Ed skills on Corvette restoration was highly praised.
His friends in Apache Junction gave him a big memorial at the "Hitching Post" that was attended by about two hundred Bikers, Cowboys and friends.
Ed left behind his Mother, 8 siblings, his Son and 2 grand children.
His ashes were spread by friends at a places where he rode.
