In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Roy “Shorty” Behnken, in 1970 and by eight siblings: Blanche, George, Helen, Herb, Harold, Oscar, Bessie & Pearl Alice.
Glenna was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Downtown Dayton for the past 49 years and from 1945 – 1961 she and her husband owned & operated Behnken’s Market near West Third St and Union Road. She is survived by two children, Delbert “Del” Roy Behnken and Janice Behnken.
The family will be receiving friends at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral service with Pastor Jonathan Moyers officiating. Interment will be at Willow View Cemetery.
