Beloved mother. Devoted sister. Proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from Brookhaven National Lab after 30 years of service. She was one of the pioneers in women's rights for equal pay for equal work and past President of Brookhaven Business & Professional Women International (BPWI). She considered one of her greatest accomplishments in life helping one of her granddaughters become a doctor and showing the world that women can do anything that they put their minds to. She will be missed by many and will be a loss to those that loved her. 4/11/1931 - 8/27/16. She will be laid to rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Patchogue on 9/2/16 at 9:30. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to "The International Federation of Business and Professional Women" www.bpw-international.org
