Wilmington—Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Carter, 40, Carolina Beach Road, who died Thursday night after a lengthy illness, were held Saturday morning from the Yopp Funeral Home. The Rev. Bill Gorden officiated. Interment was in Seagate Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Joe Carter; one daughter, Billie Jane Carter of the home; two sons, Donny and Bobby Carter Wilmington; her father, W. H. Thorpe of Loris, S. C.; four sisters, Mrs. W. J. Horne of Seagate, Mrs. A. A. Rogers of Willard, Mrs. Leon Moudy and Ruth Thorpe of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, H. P. Thorpe of Wilmington and W. M. Thorpe of Willard.
