She is survived by her children, Karla Powell Vega, Flowery Branch, GA, Scott and Alison Powell, Omaha, GA; son-in-law, Maurice Vega, Flowery Branch, GA; four grandchildren, Sarah, Garrett, and Landon Vega, and Victor Powell; brother, John Grellman, Hampton, GA. Mrs. Powell was born September 14, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a 1970 graduate of Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, GA. She was retired from AT&T as a Financial Analysts after forty-six years of service. Mrs. Powell request no formal service be held.
