Angelique died around 1717.

With active men like the seigneur Deschamps and Robert Levesque, ancestor OUELLET knew stability at Riviere-Ouelle. The children married and founded families. The little LEBEL children inherited the land of their late father. It was valued at 800 livres, that is to say 200 livres for each heir. ANGELIQUE LEBEL, wife of MATHURIN-RENE OUELLET, took on double-duty by adding the rights of her husband's to hers. RENE and THERESE MIGNEAULT made some special arrangement. In order to keep their 8 arpent farm in favor of RENE's on and THERESA's daughter. The 3rd arpent was an exchange with the one coming to ANGELIQUE at la Pocatiere. But, on 2 October 1695, MATHURIN-RENE sold his 3 arpents of land to PIERRE SOUCY and went to settle at Kamouraska, on a concession with 5 arpents of frontage. Angélique and her husband Mathurin-René were step-sister and step-brother.
In 1679, Angélique's widowed mother (Thérèse Mignault Lebel) had married Mathurin-René's widowed father (René Ouellette).

"The only daughter, ANGELIQUE, was baptized on 10 November, 1672, in the presence of her godfather and godmother, Joseph Gagnon and Marguerite Cloutier. She gave her heart to MATHURIN OUELLET, on 8 January 1691. MATHURIN was the son of RENE and of ANNE RIVET. Their eight children were raised in Riviere-Ouelle. (Our French Canadian Ancestors)
