Jacob E. Wildfong, age 86, formerly of Townsend, Wis., and currently a
resident of the Hamilton Memorial Home in Two Rivers, died Sunday
afternoon, June 30, 2002 at the Hamilton Home.
Private family graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic
Church Cemetery in Mishicot.
Jacob was born Aug. 20, 1915 in Virginia to the late Moses and Pearl
Converse Wildfong. He owned and operated a dairy farm in West DePere for
many years and was also a building contractor in Upper Michigan. He
later owned and operated Jakes Small Engine Repair Service in rural
Mishicot, and then retired to Townsend. He was an avid fisherman and
enjoyed being a camp host at Kentucky Lake. He also enjoyed woodworking
and making toys for children.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Linda Aldrich of
Mishicot; Carol and Rich Thor of Mishicot; one son and daughter-in-law:
Felix and Sandra Wildfong of Green Bay; nine grandchildren: Wesley and
Wayne Aldrich: Laura Fencl; Tamara Blanke; Nichole Schumacher; Mallory
Keehan; Patrick Wildfong; and Jacob and Hailey Wildfong; seven
great-grandchildren: Katie and Kelly Aldrich: Andrea Fencl; Cory and
Jadyn Aldrich; Ryan Daley; and Nicholas Wildfong; one brother: Edwin
Wildfong of Michigan; one sister: Ruthann Kroll of Green Bay; and nieces
and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one son: David Wildfong;
two sisters: Ida McCann and Mae Katchell.
The Lambert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Wildfong family
with arrangements.
