Dixie M. Adams, age 76, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016, in Mountain Home She was born July of 1940, in Gamaliel, Arkansas to Odus and Florence (Choate) Summers. She loved her family a great deal, and enjoyed writing music, poems, stories and her home was made to welcome family. She was a member of the Heart of the Hills Chorus and Community Choir and they together brought joy to each other and the community.
Mrs. Adams is survived by two daughters Deborah R. Adolfsson of Mountain Home, and Darrah M. Adams of Denver, Colorado, a grandchild Paige Adolfsson of Mountain Home, three sisters Jean Burden of Mountain Home, Shirley Summers of Benton, Arkansas and Cathy Summers of Ozark, Arkansas and two brothers Jimmy Summers of the State of California and Joe Summers of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters Patsy, Johnna and JoAnn and two brothers Danny and an infant brother Odus.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home with Pastor David Benedict officiating. A visitation will be Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bean Cemetery.
