Corrine Carol Stirba Tyser of Dorchester, Nebraska, passed away at the Wilber Care Center on August 9, 2016, at the age of 83 years. Corrine was born to Joseph and Libbie (Wanek) Stirba at the farm home near Swanton, Nebraska on December 19, 1932. She graduated from Swanton Public School in 1950. She was the valedictorian of her class. She began working at the ASC (agriculture) office in Wilber that same year and worked there for many years.

On November 23, 1952 she and Dwain E. Tyser were united in marriage at the Swanton Methodist Church. They lived on a farm west of DeWitt for several years and then on farms near Hallam and Swanton before moving to Dorchester when Dwain opened Tyser Repair and Weld where Corrine helped with the office work. They became the parents of two sons, Sheldon and Gregory.

Dwain opened the business in Dorchester where they have lived since 1974. Their son, Greg is now taking care of the family business. Dwain passed away and Corrine lived in the home in Dorchester until she moved to Garden Square in Crete a few years ago. More recently she moved to the Wilber Care Center when her health declined.

She enjoyed reading, playing cards, her grandchildren, and eating candy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwain E. Tyser; parents, Joseph and Libbie Stirba; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Tyser and Joe Tyser.

She is survived by her sons, Sheldon and wife, Angie, Tyser of Hallam, Gregory and wife, Rebecca Tyser of Dorchester; granddaughters, Kodee Tyser and Taylor Tyser of Wilber; grandsons, Kohl Tyser and Karter Tyser of Dorchester; sister and husband, Marilyn and Rev. Roger Wolfe of Dorchester; sisters-in-law, Gladys Tyser of DeWitt, NE and Verla Tyser of Wilber and many nieces and nephews.

She had been a member of Dorchester American Legion Auxiliary for over 40 years a and lifetime member of ZCBJ Lodge Tabor, Dorchester.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Kuncl Funeral Home in Wilber, NE. Visitation with family greeting friends will be on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Wilber Czech Cemetery. Memorials care of the family for future designation. Condolences may be left online at kunclfh.com. A Full obituary will appear later.
