Juan Humberto De Leon, 75 passed away peacefully August 7, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He and his wife Martha G. De Leon had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He loved to take the grandkids to Corpus Christi and go fishing. He also loved to go to Las Vegas. He was a Boatswain's Mate in the US Navy. He served on the USS George Clymer APA-27.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Juan De Leon and Emilia De Leon; his brothers, Augustine, Alfred, Hector and beloved sister Esperanza Barrera. He is survived by his wife, Martha De Leon; brother and sisters, Pedro De Leon, Richard De Leon, Rebecca Almazan and Alicia West; beloved children include, John De Leon, Rene De Leon, Jacqueline Redell (Larry), Lisa Catina (Stephen), and daughter-in-law, Sonia De Leon; Grandchildren include Celeste De Leon (Guillermo), John Paul De Leon, John Pierre De Leon, Daniel Redell, Jordan Redell, Luke Catina, Sophia Catina, Jonah De Leon and Evelyn Rose De Leon; great granddaughter, Angelina Figueroa and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 10th from 6-7pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 11th at 1:15 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church; 3907 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209 with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
