Walter Howard "Bubba" Alexander IV, 50, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Tampa, Fla. Bubba was employed by Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. for 15 years as a pipefitter and was known for his love for fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jacquelyn Alexander, and is survived by a daughter, Kacee Alexander Batchelor; his sister, Caroline Alexander; a brother, Scotty Alexander; and two grandsons, Collin and Brendin.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 13, at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Burial is private.
