George Dawson Bradley was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on May 4, 1929. George went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 20, 2004, at the age of 75.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George D. and Muriel Bradley, and sister, Dixie Bradley.
George is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Dean Bradley; his son, Gerald Bradley of Safford; daughter, Sheryl Campbell (John) and three grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan and Jessica Campbell of Tucson.
Upon graduating from Clifton High School in 1947, he worked for Phelps Dodge before going into the Army and serving in the Korean War. After returning from his tour of duty, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Clifton and Morenci until retirement and has resided in Safford for the past 25 years.
Services will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church in Thatcher at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. preceding the services. Graveside service will follow at the Safford Cemetery. The family suggestes donations to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at FSBC-Thatcher.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bunker's Caldwell Chapel.
