Thomas Vincent Ball, a lifelong Yonkers resident, passed away on September 28, 2004. Born on October 16, 1916, Thomas Vincent and Bridget Foley Ball, he graduated from St. Joseph's Grammar School and Gorton High School. Thomas proudly served his country in the European and Pacific Theaters during WWII. He was a Traffic Manager for Alexander Smith Carpet Shop in Yonkers. Thomas is predeceased by three brothers: Harry J., Edward J. and William E. Ball. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Alma (Boyle) Ball of Venice, FL; his beloved cousins: Rene Huron of Locust Valley, NY and John Garry McCabe of Yonkers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 2, 2004 at Sacred Heart Church, with interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
