Fay H. Martin, Jr, age 96, passed on July 28, 2016 in San Antonio. He was born in Houston, Texas April 21, 1920 but lived most of his life in San Antonio. He served in the Army during World War II and later in the Reserves and Texas National Guard retiring as a Colonel in 1980. He was an educator and coach for many years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna, in 1979 and his son John in 2011. He is survived by his wife Shirley Woltering Martin, two sons, Buddy and Rick, a daughter Sandra, 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and the spouses and loved step family. Interment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
