Mr. Booth was born in Clinton, MS to the late Royal James Booth, Sr. and Willie Alma Red Booth. He served our country during WWII with the U.S. Marine Corps. PFC, serving from April 1946 to December 1947. Mr. Booth was owner/operator of Terry Auto Supply and enjoyed raising vegetables in the garden, travel, working on old cars, and mission work for the Southern Baptist Convention.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Franklin Booth and sister, Mary Elizabeth Booth Sikes of Jackson, MS.
Survivors include his children, James David Booth (Patricia) of Lafayette, LA, Daniel Preston Booth (Melvina) of Atmore, AL and Rebecca Ann Booth of Houston, TX; sister, Carolyn Booth Patrick (Calvin) of Birmingham, AL; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
