Myrtle and John were married at Stuart, Oklahoma on Sept. 27, 1924. Their children are John H. Adams, Jr., who lived in Tulsa and Ruth Gibson, who lived in Stuart and Selma Stevenson who died young. Myrtle was also survived by seven sisters, Pearl Dawkins, The Dalles, Ore., Delia Wilson and Ruby Shuller, both of Oklahoma City, Mildred Taylor of Stuart, Lorene Stacey, Ruth Lee and Opal Hickman all of Scipio. Her funeral was held at the First Baptist Church in Stuart on June 1, 1981.
