Mrs. Stella W. Latimer, Widow of Doctor, Dies


Mrs. Stella Waters Latimer, 90, a native of the District, died Saturday at the home of her son, Edwin W. Latimer, in Front Royal, Va. She had been living there for two years.


Mrs. Latimer was the widow of Dr. C. M. N. Latimer, also of Washington. She was the daughter of the late Robert Alexander and Anne M. Waters.


Mrs. Latimer's father was a lifelong District resident and for many years owned a printing establishment here that published the first Code of the District of Columbia.


Besides her son she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Warren of Huntington, W. Va.; four grandsons and a great-grand-daughter.


Mass will be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Church of the Annunciation, 3860 Massachusetts avenue N.W. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
