Marion Elizabeth Berg passed away July 14th, 2016, at 91 years to the day of her birth. She was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1925 and resided in Dallas, Texas for over 60 years.

As a proud wife of a World War II veteran, Marion was an active member of her church and community with a strong passion for service to our veterans. She was recognized year after year for volunteer hours with the VA patients for 35 yrs. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, bingo and especially family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Berg, survived by one remaining brother, Howard Steele, one son Greg Berg, former daughter in law, Mary Larson, three grandchildren, Greg Berg, Michelle Smolik, and Jen Miller, 8 great grandchildren, and 7 great granddogs.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you please make a donation to the SPCA, DAV or a charity of your choice . Visitation will be 6m-8pm, Thursday, July 21, with Rosary recited at 7pm, Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Rd, Dallas, 75218.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am, Friday, July 22, at St Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomason Rd, Dallas, 75228. Entombment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, 75220.
