"MURPHY BURIAL HERE THIS MORNING // Services for Samuel Green MURPHY, 89, pioneer citizen of Columbus, who at one time was connected with the cotton brokerage concern of Swift, Murphy and company of this city, whose death occurred in New York City Friday, will be held this morning at 11 o'clock at the Linwood cemetery, where interment will take place. // The body arrived in Columbus Monday at noon. Funeral services were held in New York Saturday, Dr. S. Alston WRAGG, rector of the Trinity Episcopal church, will officiate at the burial ceremonies. The following will act as pallbearers: H. H. Note that the grave monument for his wife Helen Wayman (SWIFT) MURPHY shows that she died in Waymanville, Upson County, Georgia.
Reported in Section 1, Lot 298, is Mrs. J. R. DOVOMES, died aged 26 years, interred 17 JAN 1897.
