Marion M. Rogenski, 76, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Wallingford, daughter of Harry and Emma (Johnson) Mooney.

She attended school in St. Albans and graduated from Hartford High School in 1944.

She married John "Bob" Rogenski on Oct. 9, 1948, in White River Junction.

Mrs. Rogenski was the postmaster of the Wilder Post Office for 20 years before retiring in 1988. She was active in state and local politics. She served as the state representative for Windsor County District 1 and 2 from 1990 to 1993. She was also active on the Hartford Town and Windsor County Democratic committees and served on the Board of Civil Authority for the Town of Hartford.

She was past president of the Post Master's League of Retirees and a past member of the Wilder Women's Club and the Friends of the Wilder Library as well as the Bugbee Senior Center and the Council on Aging in White River Junction.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann S. Rogenski of Manchester, N.H., and Conni Campbell of Hilliard, Ohio; one granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her husband predeceased her in 1989. Four sisters, Florence Mooney, Dorothy Wells, Frances Gallagher and Eleanor Brown, also predeceased her.

There will be a graveside service at a later date in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Wallingford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, HC 63, Box 52A, Lebanon, NH 03766-7205 or the American Diabetes Association, 77 Hegeman Ave., Colchester, VT 05446-3113.
