Edd K. Davis, Jr., 93, of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Gerry Davis, Rev. Terry King, and Rev. Jim Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Edd was born in Murphy, North Carolina and lived most of his life in Marietta. He worked for Alderman Food as a Manager and later was an Agent for Jackson and King Reality where he retired in 2004 after over 40 years of service. Edd was an active member of Maple Avenue United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Stephens Davis of Marietta; nephew, Rev. Terry King and his wife, Patti of Winterfield, NC; two sisters, Emma Lou Simpson and her husband, Gene of Woodstock, Mozelle Boggs of Decatur; several nieces and nephews.
