Dear father thou hast left us
In the cold world alone;
Thou hast gone to live with Jesus,
And reap what thou hast sown,
How sad, how sad, to lose thee,
To live without thy love.
But thou for all our sorrows,
Enjoy thy home above.
You're now with our dear mother,
No more you'll have to part
While your children'e left on earth alone
With sad and broken heart.
