Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Rose; grandson, Jamal McCollum-Myers, age 4 and niece Sanaa' M. Thomas, age 4. Also preceded in death by father and mother, Phoebe and George McCollum Sr.; brother, George McCollum Jr.; sister, Joyce Johnson. Survived by daughters, Annette McCollum, Felicia McCollum; brother, Donnell; sisters, Marilyn Smith, North Carolina; Kathy McCollum, Gloria Edmond; special friend, Ronald Atkins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Bibleway Temple, 2335 Collingwood Blvd., conducted by Pastor Bruce Mitchell. Wake services to start at 11:00 a.m. to be followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon. Interment Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
