Lindsay Dawn Hudson of Madison Heights passed away June 22, 2016 at the age of 29. She was born October 6, 1986 in Lynchburg and was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She was the daughter of Terry and Diane Black.
Lindsay was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Betty Cyrus, Gwyn and Dorothy Black, and a special Papa, Jimmy Branham.
In addition to her parents, Lindsay is survived by her children, Skylar and Caden Hines of Monroe; one brother, Bert Branham and wife Megan of Madison Heights; her nieces, Amber Goodbar and Haylee Branham; a nephew, Brycen Branham, all of Madison Heights; her aunts, Tina Prestipino and Sherry "Nooney" Williams and a special Nannie, Geraldine Branham.
Lindsay also leaves to cherish her memory, very special friends, Jeff Viar, Ellen Tomlin, Howard Irvin, many other special family members and friends and her canine companion, Mindy.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Gary Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m., with the service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the family for Lindsay's funeral expenses.
Whitten Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Roanoke, Va. Monelison Chapel is serving the family.
