"John C. Swann, Veteran, In Buried In Powhatan. Rock Castle, Va., Oct. 22. – Funeral services for John C. Swann, 72 years old, one of the best known Confederate veterans of Powhatan county, who died yesterday morning in his home near Trenholm, were conducted this afternoon in Muddy Creek Baptist church, the Rev.
